It seems like just yesterday I was a child running through the house with my Dad's old Ricoh rangefinder camera. Nothing was safe from my enthusiasm and persistence as I stalked my Brother, Sister, cat, dog and other characters who got in my line of sight. There was never any film in the camera, but the idea of creating what I wanted to see, with this magical tool, had defiantly cast its spell on me.

Little did I know back then, that spending my life with a camera in my hand would shape me into the fortunate man I am today. Working at different newspapers in this country and traveling all over the world photographing so many incredible things, has given me a very rich life for which I'm so grateful. I also find sharing my images with others is another wonderful part of the creative experience.

Even thou I still run around the house photographing the pets, family or friends, I've had to take on some other clients who actually pay me. Some of my corporate clients include Air France-KLM, METI, Teague, Chase Bank, Seaside Bank, United Way, City of Seattle, Australia Tourism Board, Alicat Design, and others. The editorial clients are vast and include Time, Sports Illustrated, Audubon Society, National Geographic, Getty, Zuma, Hemisphere, New York Daily News, London Daily Mirror, NBC, Women’s World, Bravo as well as numerous other national and international magazines and newspapers.

I always have room for more clients so please contact me for your photography needs or if you want to purchase a print from a gallery.

All my best,

Ted Mase
