In 2011, the "Occupy Wall Street" protest started and soon spread to other major cities around the country. The overall message and protest theme was to stop corporate greed at every level. As with most protests of any size, other issues come up and other agenda's are pursued by groups who join the original protest and theme. Seattle has always been a very liberal and outspoken city with protests ranging from the environment to housing and jobs to police brutality. The city is known for its lively characters and young drifters who are always fighting the system. These images show the faces in this very diverse crowd who all have one thing in common; they want to see change in their lives and this country.
