Florida enjoys a healthy population of Bald Eagles and Sarasota County is truly fortunate to have the Eagles it has. I have documented this particular nest for the past 4 years and have seen 10 chicks take their first leap of faith. I feel a deep bond with these birds as I spend many hours a week in their company. My life is so much more fulfilling having seen these Eagles live their lives in such a majestic way. They just amaze me.
