Rosie was an 84 year old woman who worked at a Denny's in Sarasota, Florida. Apparently she was the oldest waitress at Denny's in the country. I met her a few years ago and was so impressed with her spirit, attitude and work ethic, that I did this photo essay. Here is a woman that competes for customers with women half her age and gets pretty testy if she feels left out. Rosie has had a list of customers that come here to eat and enjoy her company for almost 10 years. Bye the way, she works for fun, not for necessity.
